This 55-page paper, written after three years of wide-ranging experience and searching analysis, shows point-by-point with considerable evidence the chronic egregious wrongdoings of New Zealand's Department of Immigration, the entity that stands at the door of the country. Its arrogant sins of omission and commission range from blatantly lying to foreigners and lying about them, to manipulating statutes and rules to suit its bureaucratic wickedness, to ignoring the great founding principles of justice and law, to being guilty of misdirecting/misspending vast sums of public money.

Now that the case of the Czech criminal has avalanched across the news, the fact that the Department has been conning Ministers of Immigration for years is biting them back, and hard. They deserve everything they get; they are the authors of their own discomfiture. The poor Minister is getting it in the neck, but it is the bureaucrats in the Department that are to blame. They are the ones who should be sacked, not him.
